Rodent Noise
The first sign that you may have rats or mice in your home are “sounds in the night”. For two reasons, during the night your home is quieter and rodents are more active. Noises such as sounds behind walls or running sounds in the roof, even little bump sounds echoing from empty places in the house.
Little Black Droppings
If you notice, black cyclindrical pellets in cupboards, pantries or even on your benches in the morning, then you probably have rats or mice.
Other Signs
The two signs above are the most common signs that you have rats or mice in your Gold Coast home, other signs include- damage to clothes or shredded paper (signs they are nesting), or a musky smell which is rodent urine.
